Here is my mood board of photos and typography that fit in with the genres of music i wish to pursue. These genres of music are indie, rock and folk. There are many variation of these genres, such as indie folk or rock folk, so i have chosen to pick these 3 main genres, as when tied together they bring a wider audience and fit well together. Some artist that fit into these categories are Mumford and Sons, Passenger, Jake Bugg, Beatles, Oasis and Coldplay.
The look of these genres of music are of retro, folk and vintage style. Colours are usually dulled down or may not even have any colour which are shown in a few images below. Indie, rock and folk music also have the connotations of acoustic musical instruments such as guitars, ukuleles and banjos. These genres link very much to live music and gives it a raw edge.
I have also picked these genres of music due the fact that many musical artists within the charts do fit into these genre categories such as Jake Bugg, Passenger, Mumford and Sons and Coldplay.
